Requirements

  • Previous experience in a service advisor, service writer, or dealership support role is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of technician work orders and repair processes.
  • RV, automotive, or powersports service experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of RV parts and service operations is preferred.
  • Strong computer skills and experience using dealership management software.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional appearance and positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the sales, service, parts, and technician teams.
  • Create, manage, and maintain accurate service work orders.
  • Schedule repairs and coordinate technician workflow.
  • Prepare repair estimates and communicate costs and timelines effectively.
  • Work closely with technicians to understand repair needs and ensure parts availability.
  • Code jobs accurately and maintain complete documentation in the Dealer Management System (DMS).
  • Verify completed work and ensure final invoices accurately reflect services performed.
  • Follow through to ensure repairs are completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain an exceptional Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI).
  • Assist customers with parts, accessories, and over-the-counter purchases.
  • Process and track parts orders as needed.
  • Draft correspondence, reports, and other service-related documentation.
  • Provide administrative support, including data entry, recordkeeping, inventory counts, and other clerical duties.
  • Assist managers with cycle counts and annual inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with all company safety and quality standards.
  • Attend team meetings and ongoing training sessions.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support the service department and dealership.
