About The Position

Chevrolet of Milford, CT seeks an Internal Service Advisor to manage the service process for used vehicles, trade-ins, and dealership-owned cars, ensuring their transition to the sales lot. This is a non-customer-facing role that collaborates with Service, Parts, Sales, and Used Cars departments to ensure timely and accurate completion of inspections, repairs, and reconditioning, all documented within the DMS. Availability on Saturdays may be required.

• Ability to create pictures and videos of repaired vehicles
• Ability to monitor inventory locations
• Ability to perform clerical duties
• Ability to manage internal vehicles from beginning to end
• Saturday availability may be required

Responsibilities

• Writing internal service repair orders for used cars, creating estimates, and dispatching work to technicians or arranging for sublet repairs.
• Maintaining and creating XTIME/ASR/DMS Reynolds & Reynolds estimates for the Used Car Manager's approval on stock units.
• Writing warranty PDI repair orders for new stock units.
• Coordinating with sales and service managers on accurate repair/maintenance cost estimates.
• Adhering to dealership policy on customer vehicle care and operation.
• Following up on repairs and keeping sales and service managers informed of progress.
• Inspecting repair quality to ensure all work is completed.
• Informing the Service Manager of all problems and potential issues.
• Opening and closing repair orders.
• Creating proper estimates.
• Physically inspecting vehicles with technicians.
• Managing workflow.
• Creating pictures and videos of repaired vehicles.
• Possessing knowledge of the used and new vehicle process.
• Monitoring the location of all inventories across several locations.
• Demonstrating knowledge of a Service Advisor's role.
• Performing clerical duties as needed.
• Managing internal vehicles from start to finish.
