About The Position

This is a 10-week summer internship program from May 31st to August 6th, 2027, focusing on first-hand experience in the team and discovering what your future would be like with us through induction, on the job learning, skills trainings and networking. The role involves responding to sales team needs and requests, utilizing provided information to develop business opportunities in a team-based approach, and following up with the Sales Team in a timely manner. The intern will also generate client mailings and e-mails related to company products and thought leadership, maintain departmental databases and client mailing lists, and support departmental sales goals and territorial objectives by working closely with Internal Sales Consultants and Regional Sales Directors. Additionally, the role includes performing administrative activities such as coordinating client meetings, generating sales reports, and ordering literature materials, as well as carrying out other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Incoming juniors and seniors highly preferred.
  • Intermediate computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Candidates must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of the internship.
  • Looking for candidates who are passionate about the mutual fund/financial services industry.
  • Must be able to provide own local accommodations and transportation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to develop strategic business relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must have a high degree of self-motivation and the ability to work with little supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to sales team needs and requests.

  • Perform a variety of administrative activities including coordinating client meetings, generating sales reports, and ordering literature materials as required.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned.
