Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.
  • 8+ years of accounting or finance experience, with an emphasis on financial analysis.
  • Prior experience in financial reporting and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
  • Experience with Oracle, FCCS, PBCS, and SmartView Excel Add‑in.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience in a publicly traded company.
  • Familiarity with multinational corporations.
  • Oilfield service industry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of detailed monthly internal financial reports, including obtaining and validating explanations for significant variances through close collaboration with business partners and management.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial analytics, overviews, and performance summaries for leadership.
  • Deliver consistently high‑quality reports and insightful analysis to business leaders.
  • Partner closely with the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team to support budgeting and continuously improve forecasting processes, ensuring financial performance and variances to expectations are clearly understood.
  • Develop ad hoc reporting and analytical support, including trend analysis, data interpretation, and actionable recommendations.
  • Work across multiple accounting groups and departments to gather required data and insights.
  • Review and identify discrepancies, partnering with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution and accurate reporting.
  • Track issue resolution progress and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely follow-up and adherence to reporting standards.
  • Serve as a liaison and business partner between Accounting/Finance and IT to ensure financial reporting systems operate effectively.
  • Support business partners with financial reporting system application and administrative matters.
  • Assist with miscellaneous accounting activities, special projects, and process improvements as needed.
