About The Position

The Internal Registry RN provides safe patient care in the Telemetry Unit using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role provides direct patient care within the scope of practice and directs patient and family teaching and the activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care. The RN is accountable for care delivered to assigned patients, communicates changes in clinical condition to physicians—including cardiac monitoring, diagnostic study results, and symptoms—and responds promptly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment. This is a 12-week internal registry contract with an opportunity to extend, based at St. Francis Hospital. The schedule is nights, three 12-hour shifts, with rotating holidays.

Requirements

Current and valid state RN license.
Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintained thereafter.
Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
Current ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintained thereafter.

Nice To Haves

Previous acute care hospital experience.
Ventilator management experience.
Medical-Surgical Nurse-Board Certified (RN-BC) or similar certification.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
