About The Position

Lakeside HR Group has been engaged by our client to recruit for an Internal Producer (Sales Executive) to join their team. Our client is a leading provider of business insurance, employee health & benefits, and risk management solutions, partnering with organizations across North America to help them navigate complex and evolving workforce challenges. This is a sales-focused role centered on developing new business within employee health and benefits (EHB). The Internal Producer will focus on building relationships with business leaders and decision-makers, helping organizations design and implement competitive, cost-effective benefits strategies. This role is ideal for a consultative sales professional looking to deepen their expertise in a complex, high-impact space.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in consultative or solution-based B2B sales
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term, trust-based client relationships
  • Demonstrated success in understanding client needs and delivering value-driven solutions
  • Ability to learn and navigate complex products, offerings, and regulatory environments
  • Highly adaptable, with a customer-focused mindset and strong business acumen
  • Self-motivated with a drive to succeed in a performance-driven sales environment

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development within the employee health and benefits space
  • Build and maintain relationships with HR leaders, finance teams, and executive decision-makers
  • Lead consultative sales conversations focused on understanding client workforce needs and challenges
  • Identify opportunities to improve or optimize employee benefits programs through tailored solutions
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to design and deliver comprehensive benefit strategies
  • Manage and grow a pipeline of prospective clients through relationship-building and networking
  • Stay informed on industry trends, benefits strategies, and regulatory changes impacting employee health plans
