About The Position

This physician-owned private practice, serving the greater Greenville area since 1997, is seeking a new physician due to growth. The new physician will provide a full scope of outpatient primary care services to adult patients, including diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care, and health maintenance. Physicians see an average of 22 to 26 patients per day, with all visits prepped and supported by dedicated clinical assistants. The practice uses the eClinicalWorks EHR. Providers evenly share on-call coverage on weekends only.

Requirements

• South Carolina medical license
• DEA
• Board Certification, Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• 2+ years outpatient primary care experience

Responsibilities

• review patient histories
• perform physical examinations
• evaluate, diagnose, and provide appropriate treatment and patient care
• refer patients to specialists as needed
• review test results and recommend management
• prescribe medications
• formulate treatment and disease management plans
• communicate with the clinical team to ensure total delivery of care
