About The Position
IndyVet Emergency and Specialty Hospital is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join their team as an Internal Medicine Technician in Indianapolis, IN. This full-time position involves working 10-hour shifts, with some weekends and an on-call rotation required. The role is crucial for supporting the staff, maintaining a high standard of patient care, and fostering teamwork within a collaborative ER/Specialty setting. IndyVet is an AAHA, Fear Free, and Cat Friendly hospital with advanced facilities including CT, a blood banking program, in-house laboratory, digital radiology, Ezyvet, and VetRadar.
Requirements
- Registered Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant.
- Completed an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program.
- Minimum of 2 years of tech experience.
- Experience working in an emergency hospital setting is preferred.
- Established skillset.
- Navigates all communication, including conflict, professionally and courteously.
