About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Levittown, Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time, board-certified Veterinary Internist to join our collaborative, multi-specialty, and emergency-focused team. Post-residency practice experience is preferred but not required. Consideration will also be given to residency-trained candidates pursuing board certification. BluePearl Levittown is a state-of-the-art, 20,000-square-foot specialty and emergency veterinary hospital that opened in 2011. Our Internal Medicine department currently includes two full-time and one part-time Internist, supported by a successful residency program with a strong reputation for both clinical and academic excellence. This position offers the opportunity to practice in a dynamic clinical environment while helping shape the future of veterinary medicine through mentorship and teaching. Candidates with an interest in education and resident training are strongly encouraged to apply. You will collaborate closely with specialists in Anesthesiology, Cardiology, Clinical Pathology, Dentistry and Oral Surgery, Dermatology, Diagnostic Imaging, Medical Oncology, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Emergency and Critical Care. The hospital features a dedicated endoscopy suite with flexible and rigid endoscopes, a special procedures suite equipped with fluoroscopy for minimally invasive treatments, advanced imaging including CT, MRI, and ultrasound with board-certified radiologists on-site six days per week, a busy I-131 radioiodine treatment service for cats, separate canine and feline wards, an ICU equipped with Snyder oxygen cages, high-flow oxygen, telemetry, and mechanical ventilation, support from three full-time and one part-time ACVECC diplomates providing patient care support seven days per week, extracorporeal therapies including hemodialysis and plasmapheresis, and on-site Antech and in-house laboratory services including VCM viscoelastic monitoring. With more than 40 veterinarians on staff, BluePearl Levittown supports residency programs in Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Diagnostic Imaging, as well as specialty internships and rotating internships. We also regularly host continuing education events for primary care veterinarians, strengthening referral partnerships through collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
