Floyd College of Medicine seeks a board-certified or board-eligible internal medicine physician for a full-time outpatient core faculty position with the WSU Internal Medicine Residency Program in Everett, Washington. The program is university-affiliated and community-based, preparing physicians for general internal medicine and subspecialty careers, with a commitment to improving access to care in rural and underserved Washington communities. Residents train in an X+Y scheduling model and primarily practice at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, with additional rotations through partner organizations. The Providence-WSU Internal Medicine Center serves patients with a broad payor mix and diverse cultural, linguistic, and economic backgrounds, including patients with substantial medical and social complexity. Its multidisciplinary team includes medical assistants, registered nurses, social work, nurse care management, integrated behavioral health professionals, and a clinic-based community organizer. The successful candidate will hold a continuous career-track appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Education and Clinical Sciences. Appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor rank may be considered based on qualifications and department promotion guidelines. Applicants at all career stages, including graduating residents and early-career physicians, are welcome; prior formal faculty experience is not required. The ideal candidate values service, is committed to rural and underserved communities, and wants to develop as a clinician-educator while maintaining an active community-based primary care practice. The position is permanent, career-track, 12-month, and 100% FTE, based at Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett, Washington. The base annual salary is $261,990–$317,008, commensurate with qualifications and rank. While serving as Core Faculty, the position may be eligible for an annually renewed administrative stipend of $11,811–$30,010, commensurate with assigned duties.
