Requirements

Three to five years of Internal Medicine post residency clinical experience
Core faculty experience in an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Residency program
A minimum of 3 years of GME teaching/administrative experience as Program Director or Associate Program Director
Excellent communication skills
Active involvement in research and scholarship (publications, presentations, etc.)
Mentorship experience of residents and students in scholarship and development of scholarship programs

Nice To Haves

Inpatient and administrative experience is preferred

Responsibilities

General administration, curriculum planning, recruitment, and teaching and supervision of the IM Residency Program
Establish the strategic direction of the Program and is responsible for the standards, quality and reputation of such
Support integration of the IM Program with physician practices and hospital clinical services in a manner that enhances value and quality, and that promotes an optimal environment for professional practice and medical education
Provide some inpatient and outpatient services related to hospitalist and/or the resident continuity clinic
