About The Position
Piedmont Medical Center is seeking an Internal Medicine physician to join a well-established, collaborative outpatient team in a rapidly growing community. This position offers a strong work-life balance with a Monday-Friday schedule, no weekends, and no hospital rounding. The practice is located in a brand-new Medical Office Building with modern facilities and technology, designed to support physicians from day one. The role involves a full scope of primary care, including acute illness, minor injuries, immunizations, preventive care, and chronic disease management. The practice benefits from on-site X-ray and lab services, as well as dedicated referral coordinators.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
- Eligible for licensure in South Carolina
Responsibilities
- Outpatient-only Internal Medicine practice
- Monday–Friday schedule, 8 AM–4 PM
- Provide full scope of primary care: acute illness, minor injuries, immunizations, preventive care, and chronic disease management
- Manage specialist appointments with the assistance of dedicated referral coordinators
