About The Position
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for an Internal Medicine Physician to serve as faculty for the Internal Medicine Health Equity Track. The role involves supervising Internal Medicine residents, providing clinical teaching in primary care, population health, value-based care, and health equity-focused practice. You will teach residents to integrate social determinants of health, community-engaged care approaches, and equity-centered clinical decision-making. Responsibilities also include participating in academic activities like journal clubs and case conferences, mentoring residents in quality improvement and research, and collaborating with leadership to develop curriculum. Requirements
- Active TX Medical License or willing to obtain
- BC/BE
- At least one professional reference within the last 24 months
- Completion of an ACGME or AMA-approved residency program

Responsibilities
