About The Position

COPC is seeking an experienced full-time licensed Internal Medicine Physician to join their team at Knightsbridge Internal Medicine. This practice is known for its patient-centered environment and supportive culture, focusing on health education, disease prevention, and management for all ages. They utilize state-of-the-art EHR - EPIC, with training available during onboarding for new hires. The office hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. COPC, founded in 1996, is the largest independent physician-owned primary care group in the nation, dedicated to providing high-quality preventative and chronic care while minimizing hospitalizations. They collaborate with health systems but remain independent, referring patients to the best specialists. Their model prioritizes people, offering high-quality care efficiently and cost-effectively. COPC emphasizes clinical excellence, ethical standards, and a holistic approach to patient care, allowing physicians more time for patient and colleague relationships.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD/DO).
  • Completed a three-year Internal Medicine Residency.
  • Obtained a board-certification from American Board of Internal Medicine.
  • Active medical license in the state of Ohio.
  • Extensive medical knowledge, including understanding various diseases, their diagnoses and appropriate treatments, and preventive healthcare methods.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide primary care for all ages with a focus on health education, disease prevention, and management.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art EHR - EPIC.
  • Clearly explain complex medical conditions and treatments to patients.
  • Listen to patient concerns with empathy.
  • Analyze patient symptoms and medical history.
  • Make accurate diagnoses.
  • Chart the best course of treatment.
  • Remain calm under pressure and maintain patience when dealing with patients of all ages, backgrounds, and temperaments.
