About The Position
Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to join their established outpatient practice in Kankakee, Illinois. This is a full-time, employed position focused on providing high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse patient population in a collaborative and supportive environment. The practice is part of the nationally recognized Prime Healthcare network, committed to delivering personalized and evidence-based care across Illinois, prioritizing clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and provider well-being.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (ABIM)
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Eligible for an unrestricted medical license in the State of Illinois

- Internal Medicine or Family Medicine background accepted.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse patient population.
- Work in a collaborative, supportive environment.
- Focus on 100% outpatient practice.
- Maintain a schedule of Monday-Friday, with 36 patient-facing hours and 4 admin hours.
- Manage an average patient load of 20-25 patients per day.
- Utilize the Epic EMR system.
