About The Position

Internal Medicine Physician Position with National Wound Physician Group. This role offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility, promoting a healthy work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend responsibilities. Physicians become experts in wound management, learning from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors, and utilizing cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. Our physicians provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. We provide physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship, equipping you with the knowledge and expertise for clinical excellence. W2 physicians earn, on average, $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week (Part-time opportunities available). Paid Training is provided. The practice involves delivering modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings like Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility. The full-time role is 4-5 days per week, while a part-time role requires a minimum of 3 days per week. This is a mobile practice where physicians visit 2-3 facilities per day within a 40-60 mile radius, treating approximately 20-30 patients daily. Clinical documentation is performed in real-time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. Paid training is provided during onboarding, along with a 6-month wound care fellowship. This is a W2 employment contract, and work visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

  • Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
  • Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
  • Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
  • Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities
