About The Position

MercyOne Regency Clinic is actively seeking a BC/BE Internal Medicine physician to join their care team in Mason City, Iowa. This is a busy outpatient practice with an instant patient volume, joining a team of 3 physicians and 4 ARNP's. The practice offers traditional outpatient family medicine with optional obstetrics and minimal, phone-only call. On-site amenities include lab, X-Ray, pharmacy, and a convenient care clinic. The clinic is located 2 miles from MercyOne North Iowa, a 342-bed regional referral teaching hospital recognized nationally as a Top 100 Hospital.

Requirements

• BC/BE Must be board certified within 3 years of becoming eligible
• EOE/drug screen required
• Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school is required.
• Demonstrated competency as a physician by completion of an appropriate residency program; board certified or board eligible.
• Must be able to obtain Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa medical staff privileges.
• Above average communication skills.
• Ability to work with a team.
• Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa physician license; Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
• All offers are contingent upon the successful completion of references, background check, pre-employment physical and drug screen.
