About The Position

Lovelace Medical Group is now hiring a Hospitalist Physician at Lovelace Medical Center. Requirements

• BE/BC in Internal Medicine.
• Physicians use Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe technology to automate documentation, reduce administrative burden, improve patient flow, and ensure accurate coding.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care to patients in accordance with regulations, including obtaining patient histories, ordering labs and diagnostic studies, and arranging referrals.
• Uphold excellent bedside manner and create a positive patient experience.
• Explain medical procedures and plans of care to patients.
• Responsible for inpatient care, rounding, admissions, discharges, and consults.
• Assess patient health by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations, and obtaining, updating, and reviewing medical histories.
• Document patient care services in EPIC.
• Attend departmental meetings and professional training sessions as requested.
• Maintain knowledge of and adhere to applicable laws and regulations, including HIPAA.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and medical staff to coordinate patient care.
