About The Position
Wellington Regional Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified Internal Medicine physician to join their team as the Associate Internal Medicine Graduate Medical Education (GME) Continuity of Care Clinic. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician passionate about teaching and mentoring the next generation of internal medicine physicians in an outpatient academic setting.
Requirements
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine.
- Previous experience required teaching residents in a clinical setting.
- Strong clinical, communication, and teaching abilities.
- A commitment to academic excellence and fostering medical education.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor internal medicine residents in a continuity of care outpatient clinic along with other preceptors.
- Physician will work with resident physicians as well as see their own panel of patients on select days.
- Support residents’ academic and clinical growth through effective teaching and mentorship
