About The Position

At ABB, we help industries run leaner and cleaner. This position reports to the Warehouse/Internal Logistics Supervisor and is an onsite role in Mebane, NC. The role involves sorting and arranging material for storage, picking components from stock for dispatch and final packing on pallets, executing routine activities according to established procedures, and transporting boxes, along with various other collection, storage, and warehouse activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 1 year working in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Knowledge and use of tools – tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed.
• Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs
• Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

Responsibilities

• Sorting and arranging material for storage as per guidelines.
• Picking components from stock for dispatch and final packing on pallets.
• Executing routine activities according to established procedures.
• Transporting boxes, and being responsible for various other collection, storage, and warehouse activities.
