About The Position

Sabre is an AI-native technology leader in the travel industry, leveraging one of the world’s largest travel data clouds and an open, modular, cloud-native architecture. The Internal Communications team, based in Southlake, is seeking a specialist to support and execute various communication projects. This role focuses on driving employee engagement and related programs, aligning with Sabre's vision to be the most valued global technology platform in travel. This involves planning, strategic writing, content creation, execution of presentations, managing broadcast emails, supporting all-hands meetings, and handling communications traffic and analytics. The position is a hybrid work-from-home/in-office opportunity, offering a flexible working environment. Success in this role requires strong collaborative relationships, intellectual curiosity, and a desire to understand a complex business within a complex industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years related experience.
  • Experience partnering with internal stakeholders.
  • Interest in managing day-to-day tasks and supporting strategy for company’s communication platform/intranet.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong writing, grammar, attention to detail and editing skills are required.
  • Strong presentation creation skills and use of PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of communications best practices.
  • Experience in strategic communication planning, message development, project management and measurement.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong personal communications skills and ability to interact with and influence people at all levels.
  • Able to set priorities, excel with minimal handholding and preserve confidentiality in dealing with proprietary material.
  • Writing test required during interview process.
  • Must have an affinity for the travel and technology industry.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in MS Teams, Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support and help execute the various communications projects.
  • Drive employee engagement and related programs.
  • Support our Sabre vision to be the most valued global technology platform in travel.
  • Plan, strategically write, create content/messaging, and execute presentations.
  • Manage broadcast emails/logistics.
  • Support for all-hands meetings.
  • Manage comms traffic/analytics.
  • Handle other ad hoc needs.
  • Develop all phases and types of communications development (ad hoc, tactical and strategic) through planning, execution and measurement.
  • Recommend and plan communications strategies, programs or activities that address specific business issues or employee needs and achieve desired results.
  • Create clear, concise, compelling and timely communications that convey key messages tied to business/company goals and foster team member understanding and engagement.
  • Develop well-crafted written material for a variety of audiences from leadership to front-line employees and for various communication channels.
