About The Position

Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Internal Auditor who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As an Internal Auditor, you will perform or assist other Internal Audit team members in performing assigned audits and projects in accordance with IIA standards and Internal Audit departmental policies and procedures. You will work collaboratively with other team members on Internal Audit program initiatives and perform timely follow-up reviews on projects to validate that appropriate corrective actions have been taken by management. You will also develop and maintain a working knowledge of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, and AHC policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 0 to 2 years of Internal Audit experience
  • Experience in or willingness/ability to learn ACL or other data analysis software
  • Candidate would possess or earn (and maintain) applicable certification (CIA, CHIAP, CISA, CFE, etc.) within 24 months of hire or upon eligibility.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer academic concentration in accounting, business, healthcare administration, an allied health field, or another relevant field (MBA or MHA desired)
  • healthcare experience preferred
