About The Position

Perform internal audits as ACI Internal Audit Schedule requires and assist the Chief Inspector with vendor audits. Document audit findings within the Corrective Action Request (CAR) System and assure the CAR's are returned within a timely manner. Perform a follow-up audit to assure the action plan from the individual responsible has been implemented. Review master travelers for completeness and accuracy. Review (sample) of travelers daily to assure the PO instructions and ACI Shop Traveler meet customer requirements. Assist Quality Manager and Lead on day to day processes.

Requirements

Must have H.S. Diploma or GED
Must be capable of reading blueprints.
Must read and write the English language.
Should have basic computer software and keyboarding skills.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Ability to present findings and quality trends to ACI associates, ACI Leadership Team and our customers.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Nice To Haves

Prior work experience in receiving/shipping helpful but not required.
Prior knowledge of AS9110 Quality Policy and Procedure a big plus.
Experience with team building and communicating with employees, leadership teams, regulatory authorities and customers a big plus.

Responsibilities

Be able to use measuring tools, e.g. calipers, micrometers, etc.
Be able to trend non conformities and external escapes to identify and recommend opportunities for improvement to the ACI leadership team.
Be able to communicate audit finding, non-conformance and external escape trends using MS Power Point to the leadership team and customers.
Be able to investigate and adjudicate
Perform internal and vendor audits/Participate in customer and government audits.
Maintain Scrap Parts Program
Initiate Corrective Actions as required.
Assist QA Leader in evaluating trainee for effectiveness of training and individual employee growth.
Assist in developing reporting for measurement of training needs and results and review procedures and specifications in order to test individuals for compliance.
Assist in conducting new hire and yearly recurrent training and administer testing to insure knowledge and understanding of ACI's AS9110, FAA, CAAC, SMA, etc. procedures.
