About The Position

Guadalupe Credit Union is looking for an Internal Auditor to join their team. This role supports the credit union by helping ensure strong internal controls, compliance, and effective processes across the organization. The Internal Auditor works closely with departments to review operations, identify opportunities for improvement, and help protect the credit union and its members.

Requirements

• Minimum of two to five years of experience in auditing required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school, or completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.
• A computer is required to complete the assessment.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of compliance, fraud detection, and audit standards is strongly preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform audit reviews to evaluate processes, controls, and compliance.
• Partner with departments to understand workflows and gather information.
• Identify risks and recommend practical solutions for improvement.
• Document audit work and communicate findings clearly.
• Support follow-up on audit items to ensure timely resolution.
