About The Position

This is a temporary position and there are no leave or retirement benefits offered with this position. Requirements

  • The Internal Fleet Auditor is responsible for evaluating agency fleet program operations and systems to assess compliance with laws, regulations and agency policies.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting agency compliance reviews and other compliance-related reviews, which include verification of records and procedures regarding state use of vehicles.
  • Reviewing documentation, processes and systems for accuracy and adherence to laws, regulation and agency policies.
  • Record and procedure verification will include, but is not limited to mileage utilization, commuting authorization, driver eligibility, motor vehicle records, unauthorized use, telematics, fuel activity, inspection records, maintenance records, insurance verification, accident reporting, citations, misuse and citizen complaints.
