About The Position

This is an exempt level position. The Project Manager supervises the performance of risk-based audits while also performing audits of ADM entities worldwide. This role manages and leads audit staff, reviews and documents audit procedures, evaluates risks, and partners with audit leadership to provide ADM Management and the Board of Directors with objective, accurate, and timely analysis, information, and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Accountancy or related field with 12-15 hours of accounting coursework; minimum GPA 2.8.
  • Assistant Project Manager experience or 6-9 years of relevant audit experience.
  • Understanding of the agriculture industry and/or commodity trading.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Leadership, team development, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Experience motivating and leading multiple teams.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Experience with Data Analytics and AI tools.
  • Ability to climb ladders up to 100 feet high.
  • Ability to travel approximately 30% globally.

  • CIA, CISA, or CPA certification and progress toward a second certification or graduate degree.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and execute risk-based audit engagements across ADM entities.
  • Lead and manage audit teams on multiple assignments.
  • Review, assess, and document audit work focused on key business risks and controls.
  • Train, coach, and develop less experienced audit professionals.
  • Prepare project evaluations and performance feedback for team members.
  • Ensure communication and documentation of procedural updates and guidance.
  • Partner with management to deliver timely audit reports and recommendations.
  • Lead audit projects while providing oversight on additional projects.
  • Supervise and train less experienced leads and staff members.
  • Establish goals and development plans for direct reports.
  • Provide quarterly coaching and performance feedback.
  • Support continuous improvement of audit methodologies and guidance.
