The Internal Audit Analyst will be responsible for evaluating the existence, sustainability, and operating effectiveness of internal controls over operations and finance related activities. This role requires experience with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), Internal Control Frameworks and/or Internal Audit, and a strong sense of motivation. The analyst will participate in the identification, rationalization, and evaluation of internal controls, maintain and update internal control documentation, assess the design and operating effectiveness of controls, and support the design and implementation of internal controls across related business areas. They will lead process walk-throughs, employ professional judgment in evaluating control documentation and effectiveness, document and assess internal controls including evaluations and weaknesses, and ensure conclusions are based on a complete understanding of the process, business, and risk environment. The role also involves monitoring remediation of control weaknesses/gaps, providing recommendations for improvements, and driving the completion of assigned tasks, tracking progress, communicating results, adhering to deadlines, and ensuring compliance with IIA Standards and Principles. For Model Audit Rule specific duties, the analyst will test and evaluate the operating effectiveness of MAR related controls, support the evaluation of deficiencies, assist in the preparation of MAR sub-certification packages, and drive the completion of the assigned testing plan.
