The Role: Internal Assembler You will perform a range of tasks in the production of a transformer, including: Reading, understanding and interpreting Bill of Materials (BOM), drawings, schematics, work instructions and specifications to complete assignments without (or limited) supervision. Selection and preparation of materials, tools and equipment necessary to complete tasks. Obtaining and/or preparing all necessary parts & materials, then performing assigned assembly of appropriate parts. Operating cranes and hoist as needed. Performing repairs, either inside or outside tank. Training, assisting, and mentoring new team members in assembly. Maintaining quality and production records. Performing any related tasks as deemed necessary by supervision.

Requirements

  • Ability to work evening or night shift
  • Able to work limited over-time, including Saturdays and/or Sundays, if necessary
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs), drawings
  • Ability to perform basic mathematics and computations
  • Adhere to assigned schedule
  • Demonstrate proficiency in basic English communications
  • Resides or intends to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Washington, Missouri
  • Has current work authorization for employment within the United States
  • Internal candidates: bid process per Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)
  • External candidates must complete: Application; Talent Assessment; Job interview, pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Safety Sensitive position: Drug panel includes THC

Nice To Haves

  • Previous manufacturing experience
