About The Position
AmeriLux’s AmeriLux University internship program places interns in a specific department and supports their professional and personal growth throughout their education. Interns learn about AmeriLux, its products, and its divisions through team interactions, executive-level lunch-and-learns, group events, and opportunities to meet the executive team. Leaders guide interns through projects and day-to-day tasks, and each intern partners with their leader to define position-specific measures of success and growth. The internship concludes with a presentation to AmeriLux leadership showcasing accomplishments and learning. Placements are available in Information Technology; Finance & Accounting; Human Resources; Distribution & Operations; Logistics & Transportation; Supply Chain; Customer Relations; and Sales & Marketing.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree at a college or university.
- Interest in one or more of the listed departments.
- Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to a team.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Partner with a leader to establish position-specific “What Success Looks Like” goals.
- Learn about AmeriLux products and the divisions across the AmeriLux Family of Companies.
- Learn the role and how to work within the assigned team, with guidance on projects and day-to-day tasks.
- Build relationships with the A-Team.
- Present accomplishments and learning to AmeriLux leadership at the end of the summer.
