About The Position

The internship program grants students the opportunity to gain exposure to freight forwarding and supply chain logistics and apply educational knowledge towards work related projects. At the conclusion of the program, interns will obtain hands-on experience and a solid foundation of supply chain management.

Requirements

  • Prefer High School Diploma or equivalent and +18 years old

Responsibilities

  • Support shipment processing within the Air & Sea Division, including assignments of varying complexity such as overland road freight, oversized cargo, and out-of-gauge shipments. These tasks are to be performed within the Company standards with emphasis on cost efficiency and industry standards.
  • Advise department Supervisor or Manager of any transaction problems or irregularities.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines, such as the Code of Conduct, assigned work schedules, and attendance requirements.
  • Monitor shipment progress and promptly escalate any transaction issues, delays, or irregularities to the Supervisor or Manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Intern to offer feedback on the department they have worked in.
