About The Position
This internship provides an opportunity to support various departments by offering general office assistance and working on assigned projects. Responsibilities include processing shipments, ensuring safe and efficient freight loading/unloading, and assisting with material receiving, storage, and inventory control. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
- Students must be a minimum of 18 years of age and enrolled in a college program.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented with good organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment.
- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment.
- Job may require punctual attendance and regular presence on-site at the assigned work location.
- The final candidate must successfully pass an E-Verify Check.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to various departments by providing general office assistance.
- Works on projects as assigned which will vary by department.
- Assist in processing shipments and ensuring that freight is loaded and unloaded in a safe and efficient manner.
- Assist with receiving materials, storing materials and inventory control.
- Other duties as assigned.
