About The Position

Financial Independence Group is seeking motivated and talented individuals to join our internship program as part of our F.I.G. Early Talent program. This program offers a professional learning experience with meaningful, practical work related to career interests, providing an opportunity for career exploration and development. The internship is a full-time, onsite opportunity in Cornelius, NC, running from February to April 2027, with working hours of 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Monday-Thursday and 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM on Fridays. The program emphasizes unique perspectives, humility, continuous coaching, and perpetual excellence.

Requirements

• Seeking full-time internship for potential full-time employment.
• Must be able to work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM onsite.
• Motivated, passionate, and career-driven with exceptional communication skills.
• Majoring in Finance, Business Management, Sales/Marketing, or Communications.
• Interested in a full-time position in financial services after graduation.

Responsibilities

• Learn the mission and values of Financial Independence Group.
• Understand the purpose and functions of various departments.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the industry and departmental contributions to overall success.
• Apply learned knowledge and actively participate in empowering financial professionals.
• Participate in a 10-week rotational program with exposure to Operations, Marketing, and Sales.
• Develop substantial knowledge of a professional work environment, the insurance/financial services industry, and departmental alignment with company success.
