About The Position

Our internship and co-op program offer practical exposure to geotechnical, environmental, materials, and facilities engineering, as well as the business functions that support these services. You’ll work alongside professionals who live our Core Values: Caring, Courage, Curiosity, Excellence Integrity, and Prosperity every day. Eligible Majors Civil, Environmental, Geotechnical, Geological, or Construction Engineering; Biology; Geology; or other related technical or business fields. We are looking for interns who are approximately 60% completed with their coursework who would like training in the Geotechnical and Materials Testing Departments. You will be exposed to Field Work, Laboratory Operation, Testing, inspections and Support Engineering Activities.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, science, technical, or business-related fields
• Interest in consulting and fieldwork
• Demonstrated curiosity, teamwork, and alignment with Terracon’s values
• A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required
• At least 60% completion of coursework.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with experienced engineers and technicians on field and laboratory assignments
• Support active project work and observe how technical decisions translate to client and community outcomes
• Build core skills in sampling, testing, data analysis, and report development
• Receive mentorship from professionals committed to helping you grow
• Participate in a nationwide internship cohort program and share your experience with executive leadership
