About The Position
Samet's Summer Internship Program puts you on active construction projects across the Southeast, working alongside experienced professionals who've chosen construction as their career. You'll see how projects move from plan to reality—from preconstruction through closeout—and understand what it takes to lead teams, manage complex schedules, and deliver excellence on every job site. You'll develop skills in project management, field operations, estimating, and business development. You'll build relationships with mentors and peers who'll shape your career in construction. Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a college student (construction management, engineering, or related major preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work in both office and construction site environments
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Nice To Haves
- Previous construction or related industry experience
- Familiarity with construction software such as Procore, AutoCAD, or Revit
Responsibilities
- Assist project managers and superintendents with daily construction operations on active job sites
- Support project documentation, including daily reports, RFIs, and change orders
- Participate in project meetings, site visits, and client interactions
- Contribute to estimating and preconstruction activities
- Assist with safety inspections and quality control processes
