About The Position

As an Intern in the construction industry, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting various project teams throughout the construction lifecycle. This role is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, safety protocols, and project management practices. You will collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and site supervisors to assist in planning, coordination, and execution of construction activities. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program such as Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.
  • Basic understanding of construction principles and terminology.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous internship or work experience in construction or related fields.
  • Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore or AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in site inspections and documentation to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Support project teams by preparing reports, schedules, and progress updates.
  • Help coordinate communication between contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions related to project challenges.
