About The Position
DCCM is currently looking for engineering, environmental, or construction students who have a great attention to detail and are ready to join a rapidly growing team. We seek interns to be versatile, enthusiastic to work in highly flexible, team-oriented environments that have exceptional communication, analytical and organizational skills. To also be able to enjoy opportunities out of office to have fun and get to know your mentors! This would be a full time, paid internship located in Fishers, IN! Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering/Environmental/Construction/Architecture
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Strong organizational and communications skills

Responsibilities
- Work under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member.
- Exercise judgment limited to developing details of work in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives.
- Performing simple calculations, computer data entry, along with some exposure to CAD, GIS, design, and Civil 3D
- Assisting with field work for data collection, site inspections and observations.
- Preparing spreadsheets, and graphs, and figures for design reports
- Observe and attend meetings with project stakeholders
- Monitor and record the work and progress of contractors while tracking material quality and usage
- Work with field inspections teams for oversight of transportation construction projects
