About The Position

North Range Behavioral Health is hiring a bachelor’s-level intern for its Crisis Stabilization Services – Detox team at the Merle Evans Center in Greeley, Colorado. The intern will gain practical experience in a 24/7 residential treatment facility, supporting assessment, crisis intervention, therapy, service planning, documentation, and coordination of care. The role offers training, supervision, and the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team in a collaborative, person-centered behavioral health environment.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s-level program relevant to the placement at an accredited institution.
• Be in good academic standing with the university or college.
• Successfully complete a background check, including fingerprinting and drug screening.
• Complete annual flu vaccination and TB testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in assessment, crisis intervention, and individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Contribute to creating and monitoring service plans.
• Document client interactions and maintain electronic clinical records.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatry professionals, to provide integrated care.
• Coordinate with internal and external services to support comprehensive client care.
