About The Position
CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental Scientist Intern to join its Environmental Services Team in Newport News, Virginia. The intern will support the team by researching, compiling, and analyzing scientific data. The position also involves routine tasks such as proofreading and copying technical and non-technical reports and specifications, as well as other administrative duties. Interns may participate in fieldwork, including site investigations, GIS support, and map production.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Hydrology, Geology, or a related science field.
- An appropriate and valid driver's license is required.
Responsibilities
- Research, compile, and analyze scientific data.
- Proofread and copy technical and non-technical reports and specifications.
- Perform other administrative duties.
- May participate in fieldwork, including site investigations, GIS support, and map production.
