About The Position
Rich’s is seeking a college student for an internship pursuing a degree in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering related field. This internship involves establishing a database for bulk ingredients, determining plant priorities, evaluating nomenclature protocols, and managing engineering drawings. The intern will also research maintenance plans in SAP, recommend long-term solutions for identified issues, and assist with capital projects focused on cost savings.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing an Engineering degree in Electrical or Mechanical related field.
Responsibilities
- Establish a database / shared drive for all Bulk Ingredients.
- Determine plant priority / schedule.
- Evaluate and edit the draft nomenclature protocols.
- Work with Maintenance Manager for the assigned category, plant controls engineer, Maintenance Planner, and/or plant maintenance supervisor to retrieve all drawings related to target plant(s) from personal computers and jump drives.
- Review, edit, rename as appropriate and file drawings in the database.
- Research and evaluate available maintenance plans in SAP.
- Provide a recommendation, including costs, on a long-term solution for any issues found.
- Assist maintenance with potential capital project to include ROCS projects (Cost Savings).
