About The Position
Fideres accepts expressions of interest for internships throughout the year and maintains a pool of candidates rather than conducting a single recruitment round. Interns provide additional support to teams and cases as needed. Following an initial screening, applicants are told whether their application will be held on file. If an internship opportunity opens that suits a candidate’s skills, interests, and availability, Fideres will contact them directly. Candidate details are kept on file for 12 months and then deleted; applicants may register again if no suitable opportunity arises. Fideres seeks candidates interested in how markets work and in the consequences of markets not working fairly. Applicants do not need to have studied economics or have prior consulting experience. Candidates should have the right to work in the location or locations selected in their application; the company is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time. Cover letters are optional but encouraged.
Requirements
- Be studying for or have recently completed a degree in economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, computer science, law, or a related subject.
- Be comfortable working with numbers and with Excel at a minimum.
- Have the right to work in the location or locations selected in the application; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Python, R, Stata, or SQL is welcome but not required.
- A cover letter is optional but encouraged.
