About The Position

In this role, Intern will work within Procurement department to assist in category management and strategic sourcing projects directly related to driving savings and improving processes for IAA. Intern will be expected to learn and develop project management and analytical skills associated with category sourcing and will learn additional accountabilities of the Procurement departments support globally for IAA. Intern will contribute and assist in leading sourcing activities such as working with stakeholders and suppliers on projects conducted by Procurement department initiatives.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Supply Chain, Finance, etc.)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Eagerness to learn and contribute to procurement initiatives.

Nice To Haves

Previous internship experience in procurement or a related field.
Familiarity with sourcing or category management principles.
Experience with data analysis tools or software.
