Intern
About The Position
Hodess is seeking an intern to gain hands-on experience supporting real-world construction projects, particularly in cleanroom, dry room, and environmental room construction for high-tech facilities such as laboratories and manufacturing spaces. The intern will receive mentorship from industry experts and learn about the cleanroom construction process while building professional skills, a resume, and a network. The intern will assist with project coordination, work alongside project managers and field teams, participate in job-site activities, collaborate with estimating and engineering teams and subcontractors, and contribute to progress reporting and meetings.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn and ability to work as part of a team and take on challenges.
Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of construction processes and software.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
- Shadow project managers and partner with field teams to learn project work.
- Participate in job-site activities to help ensure operations run smoothly.
- Collaborate with estimating, engineering, and subcontractors.
- Contribute to weekly progress reports and meetings.
