About The Position

Interstate Brick is widely recognized as one of the premier commercial brick manufacturers in the U.S. Established in 1891, Interstate Brick joined the Pacific Coast Building Products family in 1990. The company’s products, used in residential and commercial construction, offer several distinguishing features that motivate architects and builders across the country to specify them. Under the supervision of the Thin Brick Supervisor, this position supports the packaging in all areas of Line 2-Thin Brick department and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to read a tape measure or other measuring device established to aid in the development of a desired, consistent dimension.
  • Ability to communicate with peers and supervisors effectively.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to understand and follow simple instructions as directed by the department supervisor.
  • Predictable and Regular attendance is required.

Responsibilities

  • Fold boxes
  • Break away brick
  • Operate tin snips
  • Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
