About The Position

As part of Malibu's Process Engineering team, students will have the opportunity to assist in the generation, validation, and development of new production processes and innovations for Malibu Boats and Axis Wake products. The students will work with Malibu’s Safety, Quality, Production, and Design teams and report to Malibu’s Process Engineering Manager. The position includes responsibilities that will allow students to build upon their current engineering foundation and passion for the marine industry and water sports. They will be challenged to identify opportunities for safety improvements, quality improvements, manufacturing process improvements, and implementation of new designs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years towards a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical Engineering, or related
  • Must possess strong skills with hand tools and mechanical devices
  • Must be proficient in driving, docking, and trailering boats
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Nice To Haves

  • Computer design experience in CAD modeling (AutoCAD/Solid works) preferred
