The Weatherization Technician Intern supports the Energy Solutions division of CHP by assisting with residential energy-efficiency projects that improve home performance and occupant well-being. This role involves hands-on fieldwork, adherence to established standards and regulations, and collaboration with team members to complete projects effectively. The position requires initiative, adaptability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Work hours may vary based on project demands. The typical schedule is Monday to Thursday, four 10-hour days with a 30-minute lunch break. Regular attendance and punctuality are essential. Daily daytime travel is required, with up to 50% overnight travel, as well as occasional evening and weekend work. This seasonal position runs from mid-May through mid-August, with the possibility of transitioning to a full-time role based on performance and business needs.
