Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an ABET-accredited Civil Engineering program, pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and MicroStation.
- Demonstrated interest in transit and railway engineering through prior internship or applied coursework experience.
- Proficient in data analysis and possess strong problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, Bentley Rail Track.
- Familiarity with railway and transit engineering principles and practices.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on real-world railway and transit projects, assisting in design and development.
- Support engineers in understanding project requirements and proposing innovative solutions.
- Perform engineering calculations for railway and transit system design and analysis.
- Assist in designing railway system layouts and coordinating with multiple disciplines.
- Participate in field surveys and contribute to project documentation, including technical drawings and reports.
Benefits
- The salary range for this role is $21.00 - $28.00. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
