About The Position

Job Summary: Will assist an Engineering Team responsible for executing the research and development projects on AAON products. They will be given tasks that support the efforts to implement new products or product changes with AAON. They will be given guidance from experienced engineers and/or Management responsible for running short-term projects. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with product definitions/specifications. Assist with performance testing of AAON products Reads and reviews electrical diagrams. Evaluates, tests, and modifies unit components. Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Communicates new product information and IOM/Service Manual information to all necessary AAON departments. Analyzes test data to determine products meet DOE, UL, and ANSI requirements. Travels, when necessary, for third party testing or product review at field test sites. Education and Experience Requirements: Current student enrolled in an ABET accredited Engineering program. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Communicates effectively in written and spoken form. Possesses excellent interpersonal relationship skills. Exhibits good decision making and analytical problem solving abilities. Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills. Works effectively in a team environment. Work Environment: Periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
