About The Position

Foley Equipment invites passionate individuals to join our Technician Internship program. This program is designed to bridge the gap between classroom knowledge and real-world expertise, allowing interns to kickstart their careers as skilled technicians for Caterpillar, heavy equipment, EPG (Electric Power Generation), or trucks. Interns will gain invaluable hands-on experience by working alongside seasoned technician mentors, developing a foundational understanding of diesel systems, essential procedures, processes, and safety protocols. The program also includes exclusive dealer-specific training. Travel may be required for training and/or to assist at other locations.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or aspiring to enter a diesel technician certificate or degree program.
• Exhibit excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Aspire to build a long-term career path as a technician in the diesel industry.
• Proven work ethic.
• Genuine passion for troubleshooting and a dedication to continual learning.
• Possess basic diesel tools tailored for the diesel field.

Nice To Haves

• Previous mechanical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gain Hands-On Experience: Work side-by-side with seasoned technician mentors.
