About The Position

Foley Equipment invites individuals passionate about learning how things work and mechanically inclined to join our Technician Internship program. This program aims to bridge the gap between classroom knowledge and real-world expertise, allowing interns to kickstart their careers as skilled Caterpillar, heavy equipment, EPG (Electric Power Generation), or truck technicians. Interns will gain hands-on experience working alongside seasoned technician mentors, develop a foundational understanding of diesel systems, essential procedures, processes, and safety protocols, and access exclusive dealer-specific training programs. Travel may be required for training and/or to assist at other locations.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or aspiring to enter a diesel technician certificate or degree program.
• Exhibit excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Aspire to build a long-term career path as a technician in the diesel industry.
• Proven work ethic.
• Genuine passion for troubleshooting and a dedication to continual learning.
• Possess basic diesel tools tailored for the diesel field.

Nice To Haves

• Previous mechanical experience is a plus.
