Through the National Shipbuilding Strategy (NSS), the Government of Canada has embarked on one of the largest procurement projects since the Second World War. The NSS is a nation-building effort to create a sustainable Canadian shipbuilding industry, secure long-term job opportunities and build the next generation of ships for the Canadian Coast Guard and Royal Canadian Navy. Through its NSS–related work, Seaspan Shipyards is owning the redevelopment of our domestic shipbuilding industry on the West Coast and delivering on the promise of ships built in Canada, by Canadians. As the Intern, Talent Acquisition & Global Mobility, you will have the chance to support all campus recruitment activities, learn the basics of navigating our ATS and engaging candidates in the recruitment life cycle. This role is perfect for those eager to explore the world of talent acquisition while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic team. You'll work alongside experienced professionals who will guide you through the recruitment process and help you develop essential skills. The Intern, Talent Acquisition & Global Mobility will be responsible for providing project and day-to-day operational support for the Talent Acquisition & Global Mobility team. This role reports into the Talent Acquisition Programs Specialist. Note: Due to business needs, this position is required to be fully on-site based at 889 Harbourside Drive, North Vancouver.
